PROFILE
My interest in plants goes as far back as I can remember to my Mother's flower garden. This continued as I majored in Botany at Hunter College in New York City and Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. My career as Professor of Botany at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY provided the perfect stage for imparting my love of plants to generations of young students. Along the way the camera was ever present, documenting family, pets, plants, European locales or anything that could illustrate a botanical principle. This developed into a desire to share an artistic vision with others. I hope you enjoy my images.

RESUME
Patricia Bonamo has published many articles in technical botanical journals that required precise photographic documentation. Her photographic skills and attention to detail were honed in this arena. In her botany courses many of her 35mm slides illustrated botanical principles and included forays into the beauty of plants. It is the reflection of this beauty that monopolizes her current interest.
